Background on the Establishment of the IKIM Endowment Fund
The endowment implemented at IKIM aims to create a financial infrastructure
sustainable that can be beneficial for any preaching purpose and
spread the understanding of Islam to the community.
The establishment of this IKIM waqf fund is generally intended to receive cash,
properties including those located abroad, financial assets and so on
Sharia compliant whether from inside or outside the country that will be used for the benefit
preaching and Islamic knowledge.
Objectives of IKIM WAQF
- Strengthen knowledge and education initiatives that are beneficial to the community;
- Strengthen the media broadcasting quality of Radio IKIM, tvIKIM and digital media to
Muslims inside and outside the country; - Developing the spread of Islamic understanding through the film production industry
Islam; - Develop a strong waqf fund so that financial management for
science, education and media activities that are more sustainable and lasting; - Receive and develop waqf properties for the benefit of IKIM;
- Funding any other initiatives that are in line with the goals of establishing IKIM.
