We are pleased to inform that YAB Dato’ Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia has reappointed Y. Bhg Tan Sri Dato’ Seri (Dr.) Ahmad Sarji bin Abdul Hamid as a Chairman of IKIM for an eighth term. His reappointment is effective from March 16, 2008 until March 15, 2010. He is the founder of IKIM and was appointed Chairman by Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, former Prime Minister of Malaysia, in 1992.
The confidence of YAB Prime Minister in the leadership of Y.Bhg Tan Sri Dato’ Seri (Dr.) Ahmad Sarji bin Abdul Hamid shows that his leadership has successfully steered IKIM in enhancing the understanding of Islam.
